At The Camp

No other resort can provide the feeling of peace and seclusion that is produced by our waterfall.

The crystal clear waters of Rushing River run through the middle of the camp.

Children spend many hours in the water; swimming between the falls, the diving board and the slide. The focus of activities at the camp is the waterfall where you can enjoy a natural Jacuzzi while hanging onto a ski rope or challenge the falls in an inflatable.

You can enjoy a relaxing time sunning on the docks, or cooling off in the deep pool below the falls.

The deep pool below the falls is an ideal setting for the one-meter diving board and 20 foot slide.
For a real thrill, try going down the slide backwards!

If you prefer to be on the water instead of in the water, you may use a canoe free of charge. As well, Rushing River and Blindfold Lake are ideal for kayaking. Aluminum fishing boats with 15 hp motors are available for rental

For folks who like to tube or ski, we have a ski-dock located in a quiet back channel of the lake, about 5 minutes from the camp.

Children also occupy themselves playing in the sandbox, on the play structure, or catching crayfish, perch, and rock bass from the docks.

Older “kids” might enjoy a game of horseshoes.

The deck by the waterfall and docks is a good place to read or get together with other guests in the shade..

A popular pastime is to gather “on the rock” for morning coffee. The sun warms you while the view of the river below inspires you.

There are picnic tables and a common-use propane grill. Camp Waterfall guests can use the screen house for relaxing, reading, playing games, or eating meals.

Our guests generally fall into one of 3 categories:

Those who come to relax and enjoy nature and the amenities at camp.

People from the first group who want to fish as well.

Fishermen.

For the fishermen we offer a clean, spacious, and airy fish house with free freezer facilities. The floor is open to allow plenty of fresh air, but screen around the base of the building keeps the bugs out.
