Nature!
A big reason to visit Northern Ontario is to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.
Whether it is to get that once in a lifetime close-up photo of some creature or to thrill at the sight of an eagle soaring or otters playing in the river, we are all awed by what nature has to offer. Feeding chipmunks is an enjoyable activity for both children and adults.
If you are a birding enthusiast you will likely see bald eagles, pelicans, blue herons, Canada geese, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and several species of ducks. Beaver, otters, and turtles can often be seen in or near the water.
Guests will often see deer and might get to observe a black bear, wolf, or fox. On occasion a moose, bobcat, or lynx is spotted.
